Alpaca Purchase
We purchased a beautiful young female specifically to breed to Wisp of Smoke. Arapaho Sentinel’s Topaz is a medium fawn daughter of Silver Rose Sentinel. Sentinel is a multi champion in fleece and halter shows. He has passed on his density, fine fleece and fabulous staple length to Topaz. She is bred to multiple champion Cheveyo out of Christopher B.
Alpaca Trading
In 2011 we engaged in some horse, I mean alpaca, trading! By working out some trades we were able to expand our huacaya herd genetics and diversify our selection of alpacas. We traded one of our maiden huacayas for one of like value but different genetics and six of our huacaya females for six suri females of like value.
Alpaca Births
Two male huacaya males were born in November. Check out Hombrecito and Marquee in the “Cria Crib.”
